Staff Portal

Overview

I was integrated into the Staff Portal team to conduct comprehensive research on the current tracking and management practices employed by Area Client Managers regarding team performance. I identified key challenges faced by managers and gathered insights into the most valuable features for a new management tool.

 

This research informed the design and development of the management view for the staff portal dashboard, ensuring it aligns with user needs and enhances operational efficiency. My analytical skills and proactive approach contributed significantly to optimising the dashboard's functionality and user experience.

My role & impact

By fulfilling a role of User Experience researcher for a brief allocated time I conducted a thorough evaluation of the existing banker dashboard to assess its impact on the management dashboard design. I determined that the management dashboard could either replicate the tactical approach of the banker view or adopt a more analytical interface.

 

This proposed interface would effectively integrate detailed, data-driven features with real-time updates and potentially include comprehensive profiles for each banker. By aligning these functionalities, I aimed to enhance decision-making processes and improve overall user experience for management.

Overall impact statement

The research shows that the updated Staff Portal has the potential to transform managerial workflows by shifting from a fragmented, manual, error-prone environment to a centralized, intelligent, and highly efficient performance management ecosystem.

This would directly support strategic business goals: improved productivity, better decision-making, stronger data integrity, and enhanced team performance.
